Life can be really busy and technology is taking over our lives! Just like traditional tutoring can help a student acheive more in a Science, English or Math, Tech Tutoring can help you use your existing technology better, or upgrade to new tech.

What is an ecosystem?

Amazon, Apple and Google are just a few companies competing for your dollars. Lately, as a consequence of competition, these companies are creating their own ecosystem to keep you spending your dollars with them and not the competitor. Check out the example below:

Apple sells you a phone. That phone comes with iTunes and the App Store. You can add productivity apps, games, movies or music to your phone by purchasing them from Apple. Then, they offer to sell you a Tablet so you can do all the same things on you phone, but with a bigger screen. To entice you buy their tablet (iPad) they tell you that you can also put those apps, games, movies and music on iPad for free! Next they make a peripheral for your TV that allows you send your phone or iPad screen to the big screen. you can also access all that content right on your Apple TV! So now you are invested in Apples ecosystem (MacBook, iPhone, iPad & Apple TV). Now, lets say you see an ad for Amazon's Echo with Alexa Voice Control. This sounds really cool, but there is a problem. Those songs you bought on iTunes through apple can't be played through Amazon's echo. Amazon works with Amazon Prime and they want you to purchase everything through Amazon's ecosystem. It can get even more confusing if you mix Google devices in the mix.

It really pays to plan out which ecosystem you prefer before purchasing equipment. We are available to help you decide which one is best for you and will help you build your entertainment and productivity profile so everything works together!
